IEEE YESIST 12 (YOUTH ENDEAVOURS FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION USING SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY) (formerly SS12) is an international talent show with the theme of UN Sustainable Development Goals for the students and young professionals to show case their innovative ideas to solve humanitarian and social issues affecting directly the community around them.

IEEE YESIST 12 2019 , the fifth edition of the event is organized by Madras IEEE Education Society, in partnership with IEEE Entities, Universities and leading technology industry companies. The event takes one year planning and execution of the four tracks with numerous pilot prelim events. The grand finale will be held on 7th and 8th of September 2019 at Stamford University, Thailand.

The Organising Committee is looking for volunteers for the various activities like design, publicity and promotion, track execution, reporting and website coordination. The selected volunteers will be expected to have dedication and commitment in addition to the necessary skills as well as the ability to contribute in a team. The ambassadors are required to coordinate the student participation towards attending the prelims in the pilots and the finals.

In turn, they will be recognised through a certificate at the end of the event. In addition, it is planned to recognise the volunteers based on the level of their contribution and a gift will be provided to the best ten volunteers with a recognition certificate.

 Who can Apply?

Anyone with a set of skills to show off, anyone who wish to use their talents for the benefit of others. No restrictions on the basis of age, country, affiliation or qualification. Applicants just have to be a human being able to execute the requirements of the committee!
